This prediction alone was so alarming to the creators of Hibar, that it inspired them to take action to help eliminate the single use of plastic in the bathroom. Thus, Hibar was born. This clever shampoo and conditioner line does it’s part in being eco-friendly by helping to get rid of plastic via offering recyclable and compostable exterior packaging. While using a bar for your hair may seem foreign to many, it’s actually quite simple to use as each bar is shaped like a teardrop with an angled tip to make application of the product easy while in the shower. Founder Nora Schaper explains the inspiration behind the shape of the bar, “We spent a lot of time getting the shape right. We wanted it to be iconic, unmistakable, beautiful.
