Clinique’s newest offering just became my fave lipstick. Not only is it made with an amazing lightweight formula, but it has bold, saturated color and incorporates a primer. It’s a long-lasting lipstick that’s moist and feels smooth and fantastic. BUT for me, the best thing about it is that the tubes are the color of the lipstick! No more digging around and opening the tubes to see what’s inside. I love, love, love it.
Read MoreI saw it, and I had to try it! Estee Lauder premiered a new lash product called Little Black Primer ($24) and while I was skeptical, I also was intrituged. It’s billed as a prep-step for your lashes. A base to create fuller lashes that stay flexible and feel healthy. Or, a lightweight mascara for a no makeup, “groomed” look, a “weekend” mascara.

I have long said that Estee Lauder is not just your mother’s cosmetic line anymore. They have the best long-lasting makeup products out there. Their double wear line is unbeatable for long wear. Revlon has a the color stay line, and it’s good, but the double wear line is simply the best in my book. It stays true to color, and more importantly for a long-lasting product, it is easy to apply.

I just wrote the piece about Anna Gunn, and realized that I have to include the Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero-Smudge Eyeliner in Brown as my first fave. This eyeliner is not quite purple, and not quite brown - it’s just the perfect shade for creating a light smoky eye. I also need to give props to the new Dior Addict Fluid Stick. It’s a cool hybrid of a lipstick and lip gloss. For a shimmery nighttime look, it’s unbeatable. Rounding out my three fave things are the Ardell Flair Short Brown Lashes. I use these lashes almost every time I work, and much prefer them to heavy coats of mascara. They create a soft, natural look that you can’t get with a strip.
